Found while tracing the teach path: _teach read `pool.api_key`, the same
mistake the v0.4.59 401 was about. Pods in one pool can carry different
tokens, so the pool's key 401s against any pod that does not share it -- and
the request is then lost to the very 404 that teaching was meant to cure. The
bearer is handed out with the address, so it is passed through.
