How to Farm Gold in Diablo 4

Gold is a key resource in Diablo 4 that allows players to purchase weapons, armor, and crafting materials. Gold can be earned by completing side quests, dungeons, and World Events.

Repeatedly running two specific dungeons, Anica's Claim and Dead Man's Dredge, will provide a large amount of gold for players. Also, selling gear to vendors in towns and cities across Sanctuary can yield a sizable profit.

Dungeons

Gold is a critical in-game currency that can be used to buy upgrades, weapons, and other gear. There are several ways players can farm gold in Diablo 4, and the method that works best depends on the player's situation and playstyle.

Dungeons are an excellent way to earn gold in Diablo 4. These challenging areas spawn a lot of enemies that drop valuable loot. Completing a dungeon rewards the player with gear, crafting materials, and sometimes a legendary item. The best dungeons to farm for gold include Anica's Claim and Dead Man's Dredge, both of which can be repeatedly run to harvest large amounts of the valuable resource.

Another great gold-farming option is the Greed Shrines that spawn throughout the world. These shrines temporarily increase the amount of Gold enemies drop, making it easier to defeat them and make money. Players can also sell lower-level gear and weapons that they no longer use for a good amount of gold.

World Bosses

In addition to killing enemies in dungeons, players can also collect items and sell them to vendors for a nice amount of gold. This is especially useful if you are running low on gear and don’t want to block space in your Eternal Stash.

Another way to earn gold is through Event Quests. These are special challenges that appear around the world and offer a significant reward for completing them. Some examples include fighting the level 35 Elite Osgar Reede in Nostrava or clearing a series of challenges around the area of Camios Landing.

Additionally, completing early-game main quests will grant players a good amount of diablo 4 gold guide as well. Finally, players can also earn a decent amount of gold by completing World Events. These events often feature unique enemies and higher-quality chests for players to loot making them an excellent source of gold.

Event Quests

Many of the world events found in Diablo 4 offer a variety of rewards, including gold. These can be as simple as defending a location from waves of enemies or as involved as hunting down a powerful boss. These special activities are an excellent way to generate a substantial amount of gold quickly and efficiently.

Some of the most popular events for Gold farming include the Anica’s Claim dungeon located south of Bear Tribe Refuge Waypoint in the Fractured Peaks, and the Forsaken Quarry dungeon north of Kyovashad. Both of these dungeons are considered one of the best places to farm Gold in the game due to their high enemy density and valuable loot drop rates.

Another easy and reliable way to make Gold is by completing all of the main story quests. Many of these also reward hefty sums of gold, which can be used to purchase and upgrade gear. Moreover, players can also earn Gold by selling unwanted items to vendors.

Sanctuary

Defeating enemies and completing dungeons aren’t the only ways to make gold in Diablo 4. As players complete side quests, Strongholds, Waypoints, Altars of Lilith, and more they will tick off achievements which grant hefty rewards, including gold. To track these milestones players can open the map and view Region Progress which lists all the dungeons, side quests, etc that they’ve completed.

Additionally, completing the Hold Your Ground world event in the Frigid Expanse area of Sanctuary will earn players a nice sum of gold through a bonus reward called Murmuring Obols. Similarly, playing on Nightmare difficulty will increase enemy drops significantly and boosts the value of dropped items.

Finally, the Blacksmith NPC found in every town and city is a great source of gold in Diablo 4, as players can sell gear for sizable profits when they’re done with it. However, players should note that doing so will also sacrifice crafting materials. Those looking to maximize their gold earnings should consider selling only the items they don’t plan on using.
