a loop stall prints the loop thread's stack while it lasts (v0.4.51) · c43ca5b0
Stefy Lanza (nextime / spora ) authored Oct 19, 2026
Rented OCR pods froze for 108-784 s under load ("[loop] blocked for 784.6s"),
and there is no shell on a pod to attach a profiler. A daemon thread now
watches the sampler's heartbeat. After CODERAI_LOOP_DUMP_AFTER seconds (default
    3) of silence it prints the loop thread's current stack, again every 30 s while
the stall lasts, at most 20 per hour. It exits when its loop closes. If the top
frame is the selector, the loop was starved of the GIL rather than blocked in a
    call.
