Frazer Clarke vs Mariusz Wach full card results, schedule for 2023 boxing fight
Olympic silver medallist Frazer Clarke has huge aspirations in boxing, but the learning curve continues when he faces veteran Mariusz Wach at the York Hall arena in London on June 16. The 10-round bout, plus undercard action, will be broadcast by Sky Sports in the U.K. and by FITE TV in the U.S.
Frazer Clarke vs Mariusz Wach Live
Clarke (6-0, 5 KOs) was installed as the mandatory challenger for British heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley in April. However, Clarke's team withdrew from purse bids last month and targeted a 10-round bout for their charge, which would help prepare him adequately for a 12-round championship fight.
While Wach is a huge underdog, he does have the requisite experience to take on a rising prospect. The Polish fighter is 39-7 (20 KOs) and has mixed with the likes of Wladimir Klitschko, Dillian Whyte, Martin Bakole, and Jarrell Miller. However, his last win of consequence was a decision victory over Germany’s Erkan Teper in 2017.
In the chief support bout, Caroline Dubois continues her march up the lightweight ratings when she takes on Yarnina del Carmen Lescano over eight rounds.
The Sporting News will provide undercard results, as well as a full report on the main event.
